Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We used The Pros to fence in our backyard, and we had a great experience! After putting in a request online for a free estimate, we were contacted promptly by Jimy. He was friendly, professional, and very easy to schedule with! He arrived on time to give us our estimate, and was great at breaking down all of the options and logistics. The communication moving forward was also very smooth, and the online payment system was very easy to use!

Moses was our project manager, and he was incredibly friendly, professional and efficient. He and his crew did an amazing job! Our project was completed earlier than we anticipated, and it exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend The Pros for your next project!

FAQs About Gunite Concrete Pools

What is a gunite pool?

A gunite pool is a type of concrete pool built using a high-pressure spray of cement, sand, and water over a steel rebar frame. This method makes it one of the most durable and customizable pool options available.

How long do gunite pools last?

With proper maintenance, a gunite concrete pool can last 50+ years, making it a long-term investment for homeowners.

How are gunite pools constructed?

The process starts with excavation, plumbing, and rebar installation. Then, gunite is sprayed over the steel framework to form the pool shell, followed by curing, finishing, decking, and landscaping.

Are gunite pools customizable?

Yes. Unlike fiberglass or vinyl, gunite pools can be designed in any size, shape, or depth, and can include features like spas, tanning ledges, waterfalls, and infinity edges.

How much do gunite pools cost?

On average, gunite pools cost more than vinyl or fiberglass options due to their custom design and durability. Pricing depends on size, features, and location, but they typically start higher and add long-term value.

Do gunite pools require more maintenance?

Gunite pools may require resurfacing every 10–15 years and regular water chemistry balancing, but their strength and beauty outweigh the upkeep.

What’s the difference between gunite and shotcrete pools?

Both are concrete pools, but gunite is a dry mix combined with water at the nozzle, while shotcrete is a wet mix applied all at once. Gunite allows more flexibility and staged construction, making it a top choice for custom pools.

Create Your Dream Gunite Concrete Pool Today
